Data Analysis and Statistics with SPSS

Course Description

Data analysis lies at the end of the research process and it involves summarising and making sense of the data, informing conclusions and aiding decision making processes. This course begins with data manipulation using SPSS and move on to the data analytic methods commonly applied in the social sciences from measures if central tendency to logistic regression. SPSS is chosen because it is still the most commonly used statistical packages in the social sciences in Africa and may of the developing world.
